The UHMWPE sheet is made from polyethylene with ultra-high molecular weight, providing high toughness and excellent sliding properties. It is food compliant and exhibits low moisture absorption.

Performance Characteristics

This material boasts high impact strength and a wide temperature range from -200°C to +80°C. It has a very low coefficient of friction and is resistant to moisture and chemicals, making it suitable for various applications.

Applications

UHMWPE sheets are commonly used in food processing, conveyor and bottling industries, general machining, plant engineering, and bulk material handling. Its abrasion resistance makes it ideal for lining chutes in aggressive environments.

Machining and Bonding

For machining, high-speed steel tooling is recommended. Bonding UHMWPE can be challenging due to its low moisture absorption, which affects adhesive bonding strength.
