Which thickness do I need?

Approximate weight
HDPE weighs about 0.95kg per m² for every 1mm of thickness. For example, a 1000 x 1000 x 10mm sheet weighs about 9.5kg, and a 3000 x 1500 x 10mm sheet about 42.8kg.

Is it safe for chopping boards and food contact?
Natural HDPE is FDA/EC compliant for direct food contact, making it a popular choice for chopping boards and food-processing surfaces. Contact us if you need certification paperwork for your application.
What is the difference between natural and black HDPE?
Natural HDPE is the food-grade choice. Black HDPE is mainly used for outdoor and industrial wear parts where UV stability matters more than food contact.
