Machining and Bonding
Acrylic can be easily machined using standard woodworking tools. It can be bonded with Tensol cement, superglue, or heat welding, creating strong, nearly invisible joints.
Food Safety and Chemical Resistance
Acrylic sheets are generally FDA approved for food contact, though special grades are available for compliance with European directives. They have poor resistance to chemicals like acetone and benzene.
