RG1000 is odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic, making it more economical than virgin grades. It features low moisture absorption and a low coefficient of friction, providing self-lubricating properties. However, it is not suitable for high tensile applications and is not FDA approved for food contact.

This sheet is commonly used for lining chutes, hoppers, slide-ways, and wear blocks in aggressive environments. It is also effective in marine applications due to its low moisture absorption.
