Description

Description

This high-performance rigid foam is made from 100% recycled PET, providing an eco-friendly solution for various applications. The foam features a closed-cell structure with a pattern of interconnected hexagons, allowing it to function as a conformable core material ideal for constructing high-strength, lightweight components that can sustain high permanent loads.

The innovative honeycomb structure facilitates air and resin flow, making it suitable for use as an internal flow medium during vacuum resin infusion or resin transfer molding laminates. It is compatible with a variety of resin systems, including epoxy, polyester, vinyl ester, polyurethane, and phenolic resins.

Designed for flexibility, this foam core can be draped into curved molds, enabling its use in complex shapes where conventional foam cores may not suffice. Its compressive and shear strength in relation to weight and density makes it one of the leading solutions in the market.

Applications for this foam core include boat building, automotive and motorsports, architecture and construction, as well as sporting goods manufacturing.
