This Premium transparent ether-based TPU hose is reinforced with AISI 302 stainless steel spiral, designed for optimal flow and easy cleaning. Featuring completely smooth inside and outside surfaces, it enhances flow properties and allows for effective sterilization.
This extruded, low porosity TPU hose minimizes permeation issues, maintaining a neutral taste and odor while preserving the organoleptic properties (taste, smell, color, texture) of the medium. It exhibits excellent chemical resistance to both acids and alkaline solutions, as well as good impermeability. Additionally, it has outstanding resistance to microbes and hydrolysis, and is also resistant to oils and fats in common use conditions. The hose does not require any vulcanization process, eliminating the risk of curing agent residues leaching into the end product.
This TPU hose is food grade compliant according to EU Regulation 10/2011 (classes A,B,C,D2 and E) and FDA regulations (Title 21 CFR 177.2600). It can withstand a temperature range of -40 to 90°C, with short-term peaks up to 125°C. The hose is conductive by grounding the spiral (R<10² Ohm/m).
Typical applications include the suction of powders and high abrasive granules. This Premium TPU hose is ideal for conveying pharmaceutical and cosmetic powders, pills and tablets, food flours and grains, sugar, salt, and dry fruit, as well as for transferring olive oil and fatty foods. It is also suitable for food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic liquids with alcohol concentrations of up to 20%.
The hose can be supplied in cut lengths or with couplings tailored to your application needs.
