This Premium reinforced TPU hose is specifically designed for food applications. It features a transparent ester-based TPU construction reinforced with an ivory anti-shock rigid PVC spiral. With a wall thickness ranging from 0.4 to 0.8mm, the inner surface is perfectly smooth, while the outer surface is corrugated, ensuring flexibility and durability.
Weighing very little, this hose offers high mechanical properties and remarkable resistance to abrasion, microbes, and hydrolysis. It is food grade, compliant with FDA regulations (Cfr.21-Item 17.2600 for dry, aqueous, and fatty foods) and EU regulations (10/2011 classes A, B, C, D2, E). The spiral reinforcement is also food grade, allowing safe transport of various food products.
The operating temperature range of this hose is from -40 to 80°C, making it suitable for a variety of applications. Typical uses include the light suction of food flours, powders, sugar, and granules with limited abrasion power. It is also suitable for transporting fatty foods and is utilized in agriculture for seeders.
