Description

Description

PFA (Perfluoralkoxy) is engineered as a high temperature version of traditional fluoropolymer tubing. It offers the same properties as FEP but can withstand working temperatures of up to +260°C while remaining melt-processable. This tubing boasts outstanding crack and stress resistance along with a low coefficient of friction.

In comparison to PTFE, PFA exhibits similar physical and chemical properties but has a significantly enhanced flex life, being ten times more durable, and offers lower permeation. Additionally, PFA has a lower melt viscosity than PTFE, allowing for injection, compression, and transfer molding. Together with PTFE, PFA holds the highest working temperature threshold among fluoropolymers, making it an excellent choice for demanding applications. It provides superior resistance to harsh environmental conditions and insulation from electricity, heat, chemicals, and solvents.

This premium tubing is widely utilized in industries requiring high purity grades, exceptional chemical resistance, and elevated working temperatures. Common applications include medical tubing, heat exchangers, semiconductor baskets, pumps, fittings, and valve liners.
