The Opal Acrylic Sheet is a premium quality acrylic sheet product characterized by excellent surface hardness, durability (guaranteed for 10 years), and consistent color. This sheet comes in a wide range of white tones, ideal for applications requiring a white color palette or for light box applications. Multiple opal finishes are available from stock, making it perfect for various applications and light transmission requirements.
Edge Finishes
Our cut-to-size service offers five edge finishes:
- Saw Edge: A smooth edge with little or no chipping that has a frosted appearance.
- Milled Edge: A smooth "satin" edge with minimal striations, ideal for solvent bonding.
- Laser Cut Edge: A highly polished glossy edge produced by the intense heat generated by the laser beam; no further edge finishing is required.
- Diamond Polish: Diamond-tipped cutters rotating at up to 24,000 rpm are used to polish the edges, creating a crystal-clear finish. Some rotational marks may be discernible.
- Diamond Polish & Buff: The diamond polished edge is buffed to enhance the glossy premium appearance.
Applications
