Our Premium Glass Fibre Bars are pultruded in a polyester matrix to BS EN 13706 specifications. Small cross-section bars are usually manufactured using a unidirectional fibreglass orientation with a smooth surface finish. For larger profiles, the fibreglass layup is a combination of multi-layered cross-ply glass fibre fabrics with a smooth surface finish, providing enhanced strength across the axis and excellent mechanical properties.
With tensile strength that surpasses steel, these bars can withstand high loads and stresses, making them ideal for applications where strength and durability are crucial. They also offer excellent electrical and thermal insulation properties.
