Description
This flexible, extra thin carbon fibre veneer has a high gloss finish on one side and is available with or without a 3M self-adhesive backing. It is suitable for a range of applications where the appearance of genuine carbon fibre is required in a form that can be bonded to the surface of other materials to create an attractive, high gloss veneer surface.
The veneer is designed to have a minimal variation in thickness so it will sit very flat, making it perfect for bonding to other materials. Easy to cut and shape, it is ideal for use in furniture making, architectural detailing, or adding a woven carbon fibre appearance to just about any flat surface. Being 0.25mm thin, the veneer can easily follow single plane curves (such as the radiused edge of a desk) but, as with most carbon surfaces, it will eventually break if bent too far.
