HDPE Sheet (High Density Polyethylene, PE300) in 3000 x 1500mm — available in Natural (white/cream) and Black, across 12 thicknesses from 2mm to 30mm. Sheet area: 4.5 m². Ideal for large industrial projects, skips, hopper linings, full-size panels.
HDPE PE300 is the UK's most widely specified general-purpose engineering plastic — known as the "chopping board material" but used across food production, industrial manufacturing, marine engineering, and precision machining. Food contact approved, chemically resistant, and self-lubricating.

Machining & Fabrication Notes
- Use sharp TCT (tungsten carbide tipped) tools — HDPE machines cleanly on CNC or conventional equipment
- HDPE has a low melting point (~130°C) — use coolant and avoid heat build-up when machining thicker sections
- Bonding: HDPE is difficult to bond with standard adhesives — use mechanical fixings (screws, bolts, rivets) or specialist HDPE adhesive
- Welding: Hot air welding with HDPE rod is possible for fabricated tanks and structures
- Standard woodworking saws work for rough cutting; TCT blades give cleanest edge finish
