Description
Description
The Premium 90° Compression Elbow is designed to effectively connect polyethylene (PELD, PEMD, and PEHD) and PPR pipes, ensuring reliable distribution of pressurized fluids in both irrigation and water systems. This fitting conforms to the standards set by the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme for potable water and boasts an impressive operating temperature range of -10°C to 80°C.
This innovative fitting allows for installation without complete disassembly, enabling quick and efficient setup (see the installation instructions below). It is engineered and rigorously tested to support a maximum working pressure of PN16, making it suitable for various applications including drinking water conveyance in aqueducts, irrigation and gardening projects, fire-fighting systems, geothermal systems, waste and industrial water conveyance, and even compressed air systems.
Installation Instructions
- Cut the pipe squarely and chamfer the ends for a better fit.
- Loosen the nut to open the clinching ring, which makes it easier to insert the pipe. Note that the nut and internal components (thrust ring and O-ring) should not be removed from the main body.
- Gently push the pipe into the fitting until it reaches the stop inside the body.
- Tighten the nut completely to secure the fitting. The installation is now complete and the fitting is ready for use.
